Need a Glass Solution?
Glass Pool Fencing
Glass Pool Fencing serves the dual purpose of safety and unrestricted views from the pool while also acting as a windbreaker. But it is essential that the fencing appears as a seamless extension of the pool and not an afterthought. That is why you must plan the fence simultaneously with your pool’s design. Even if you have left your pool fencing till late, we can help you build barely-there barriers that feed into and enhance the aesthetics and flow of your pool and even stand as features in their own right.
Enhance the aesthetics with Glass Pool Fencing
Pool Fencing that Harmonises
Through years of designing pool fencing for all kinds of pools, we understand the challenges of building a child-safe barrier that doesn’t make the water feel enclosed. There are broadly two types of pool fencing that can be adapted to suit your pool’s environment- frameless and semi-frameless ones.
Many people prefer frameless fences for the clean, elegant appeal and unbroken views from and through the pool. An expert will install cleverly designed stainless steel pool spigots that hold the glass panes up without the need for frames. Frameless is best designed with thicker, toughened glass panes. They can be near-invisible if they are maintained regularly and kept clean.
Semi-frameless fences have aluminium or stainless steel uprights that secure the glass panels. While they are not seamless, they are still contemporary and classy. They always offer safety for children and pets without blocking views as traditional fencing material do.
Pool fencing is not just a functional feature; it can be aesthetic as well. Our design experts can help you plan your fence around your pool’s layout and the surrounding vegetation and views.
Pool Safety
The safety of your family is of paramount importance to us. You can rest assured that the pool fences we install will strictly meet the stringent safety standards set by the New Zealand Building Code. All our fences are at least 1.2 meters above the ground and built to be secure. We ensure they are clear of any climbable objects or of large gaps underneath that can compromise security. Depending on your preference, we will install self-closing gates or alarm systems to restrict access to the pool for young visitors and keep your pets safe.
